NDIS Registered Provider
Port Macquarie Occupational Therapy is an NDIS registered provider which means we must demonstrate we meet specific quality and safeguard requirements in the provision of our services.
Service providers who are applying to the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission to become a registered NDIS provider must be assessed by an Approved Quality Auditor to meet the requirements of the NDIS Practice Standards.
Port Macquarie Occupational Therapy completed a successful verification audit with SAI Global in Feb 2019. We are registered to provide services under “Therapeutic Supports” and “ Home Modifications”.

Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) Registered Provider
Port Macquarie Occupational Therapy became a registered CHSP provider for the Mid North Coast in November 2024.
We are tasked with delivering entry level services Occupational Therapy Services direct to the aged population to enable clients to remain safe and independent in their own homes. We provide Home Modification assessments and referrals under CHSP as well as Goods, Equipment and Assistive Technology (GEAT) assessments and applications through GEAT2GO.
Typical Services Include:
- A comprehensive Occupational Therapy Assessment
- Assessment and referral for Home Modifications
- Assessment and referral for Goods, Equipment and Assistive Technology (GEAT)
- Individualised Safety and Falls prevention sessions in the home
- STEPPING ON-Evidence Based Falls Prevention Group Programme
CHSP referrals can come through the My Aged Care Portal. Your assessor can refer to us from within the MAC Portal.

HOME CARE PACKAGES / SUPPORT AT HOME
Port Macquarie Occupational Therapy are a team of Occupational Therapists who provide in-home support to prevent and mange health conditions. We provide support to ensure you are able to feel confident and independent in the community and at home.
Out knowledgeable team of Occupational Therapist's can:
- Assess you needs and goals
- Recommend Assistive technology, mobility equipment and aids
- Recommend Home Modifications
